Registration Information


When and where is MIMS Learning Live North 2024 taking place?

MIMS Learning Live North will take place on the first floor of the Hilton Liverpool City Centre. On arrival, please use the stairs or the lift to access the first floor.

Who can attend?

We accept registrations from qualified UK-based healthcare professionals working in the NHS. We reserve the right to refuse registration at our discretion. If you have any queries regarding this please contact us at [email protected].

How do I register for the conference?

Bookings can be made online. Please visit the events registration page. We are not able to take any registrations over the phone but if you have any problems making your booking online please email [email protected] or call +44 (0)20 8267 4011 to speak to a member of the customer services team.

What is the booking confirmation process?

Once you have completed the online registration form, you will be sent a confirmation email. If you have not received your confirmation email 48 hours after submission of your booking, please contact the customer services team via [email protected] or +44 (0)20 8267 4011.

Joining instructions will be sent to your registered email address a week before the event start date. Please ensure we have up-to-date contact information for you.

Haymarket Events are unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of information. Haymarket Events reserves the right to decline any booking at any time. If you need to amend your confirmation email address, please email [email protected] or call +44 (0)20 8267 4011.

Do I have to pay to attend?

Registrations from qualified UK-based healthcare professionals working in the NHS are free of charge. If you are interested in commercial attendance, please contact [email protected].

Can I share my place at the conference?

No, your colleague must also register.

Are you able to issue VISA letters?

MIMS Learning Live is for UK-based healthcare professionals only. Therefore we are unable to issue invitation letters to support VISA applications.

Is it possible to register onsite?

We are able to accommodate a small number of onsite registrations. However, we cannot guarantee availability. Pre-booking is strongly advised to secure your place and avoid queuing on arrival.

Can I cancel my registration?

Please notify us of any cancellations by emailing [email protected] as soon as possible.

I cannot make the date of the conference, can I still access the speaker presentations?

Due to copyright and speaker permissions, it is unlikely that presentation slides will be available to post-event. Recordings will not be made available post-event. 

Onsite and Arrival Information


When will I receive my conference badge?

E-badges will be sent to via email, the week of the event. Please ensure that you have your e-ticket barcode ready on your smartphone/device when you arrive. You will need to scan the barcode to print your badge.

Where can I find information about travelling to the Hilton Liverpool City Centre?

The Hilton Liverpool City Centre address is 3 Thomas Steers Way, Liverpool, L1 8LW. 

We recommend travelling by public transport where possible.

When is the registration desk open?

Registration is open to delegates from 8 am on Wednesday 4 December

Is parking available on site?

Yes, there is parking available onsite. Please visit the website here for further details, or contact the hotel directly. We recommend travelling by public transport where possible.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for the conference is smart casual and comfortable shoes are recommended.

Will Wi-Fi be available onsite?

Free WiFi is available for delegates to use throughout the conference. Login details will be displayed throughout the conference. 

Are lunch and refreshments included in the registration fee?

Yes, all refreshments and lunch are included. Lunch and all scheduled refreshment breaks will be served from designated points in the exhibition hall. We recommend bringing your own bottle of water to drink during conference sessions. Water refills will be available during break times.

Can special dietary requirements be accommodated?

At the time of booking your registration, you will be prompted to disclose any dietary requirements. If these change after your booking has been made, please contact our customer service team via [email protected].

Who can I speak to about accessibility requirements?

When completing the online registration form, you will be asked to specify any accessibility requirements. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your attendance and requirements, please contact the customer services team on [email protected] or call +44 (0)20 8267 4011.

Is there a cloakroom available?

There is a staffed cloakroom located in the registration area next to Gallery Hall. Items will be charged at £1.50 each. Please note that items are left at your own risk. 

Is there a cash machine at the conference venue?

There are several cash machines located within walking distance of the venue, including a free-to-use ATM at Tesco Superstore on Hanover Street (L1 4AF) which is a 7-minute walk.

Is the Hilton Liverpool City Centre accessible?

During registration, you will have the opportunity to outline any specific requirements you have. If this changes, or you would like to discuss your requirements with a member of the team, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible.

Is there a Multi-faith Room at the Hilton Liverpool?

There is a dedicated multi-faith room located in one of the meeting rooms on the first floor that can be used for private prayer. Please follow signage or speak to a member of the registration team if you would like to make use of this room.

Do I need insurance?

We recommend that delegates arrange for insurance against loss to their property or any loss or damage that delegates themselves may cause at the conference. The conference does not cover individuals against cancellation of bookings or theft of belongings.

Will my data be shared with sponsors and partners?

Event exhibitors and sponsors may want to share information and news about products and services with you. Haymarket Media Group, organisers of MIMS Learning Live, takes your privacy seriously. Sharing your details with sponsors and partners is always your choice and you will always be provided with a clear opportunity to indicate if you would prefer us not to share this information during registration.  Please note, if you allow your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor, you are actively opting in to sharing your data with that exhibitor.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance (CPD)?

Certificates of attendance will be issued after the conference and sent to your registered email address within 5 working days of the conference. Please ensure we have up-to-date contact details for you.

This conference is self-accredited. There is no set amount or min/max of credits to receive, it depends on how many sessions you attend but typically 1 hour of learning = 1 CPD credit.

We will email an online post-event evaluation form to all delegates. Alternatively you can email us with any additional feedback at [email protected].

This event is for qualified healthcare professionals. Anyone under the age of 18, excluding babes in arms, will not be permitted entry. Pharmaceutical companies will be at the MIMS Learning Live events.

The distribution of promotional material, except by exhibitors at their stands, is strictly prohibited. Visitors/delegates are prohibited from selling or promoting any product by word-of-mouth. The organisers reserve the right to remove any literature and to ask the person to leave.
