Dr Stephanie Gallard is an highly experienced GP who has been an accredited GPwSI in Dermatology in Liverpool for nearly 20 years, working in the community intermediate dermatology service run by Liverpool University Foundation Trust. She is an executive committee member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society, as well as a non-consultant member of the British Association of Dermatologists. She still works as a GP whilst remaining a registered pharmacist meaning she can bring a rare combination of knowledge to her educational talks.
An experienced, dynamic speaker Dr Stephanie Gallard has acted upon her passion to deliver quality, accessible dermatology education for all clinicians working in primary care, as well as lecturing and speaking for various organisations such as the RCGP and NHSE. Her current work interests include the development of a basic dermatology study day for non-dermatology experienced primary care clinicians for the PCDS, as well as Primary Care Lead for a dermatology education pilot across Cheshire and Merseyside. She continues to look at nationwide teledermatology implementation via the BAD, in conjunction with several other projects to improve the patient journey and upskill primary care clinicians in dermatology. She is an external examiner for the University of Buckingham post graduate dermatology qualifications.
