Registration Information
When and where is MIMS Learning Live London 2025 taking place?
MIMS Learning Live London will take place on 13 June 2025 at the ILEC Conference Centre. Find more travel information here.
What are the conference opening hours?
Registration commences at 08:00 and the venue closes at 16:45.
Who can attend?
We accept registrations from qualified UK-based healthcare professionals working in the NHS. We reserve the right to refuse registration at our discretion. If you have any queries regarding this please contact us at [email protected].
How do I register for the conference?
Bookings can be made online. Please visit the events registration page. We are not able to take any registrations over the phone but if you have any problems making your booking online please email [email protected] or call +44 (0)20 8267 4011 to speak to a member of the customer services team.
What is the booking confirmation process?
Once you have completed the online registration form, you will be sent a confirmation email. If you have not received your confirmation email 48 hours after submission of your booking, please contact the customer services team via [email protected] or +44 (0)20 8267 4011.
Joining instructions will be sent to your registered email address a week before the event start date. Please ensure we have up-to-date contact information for you.
Haymarket Events are unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of information. Haymarket Events reserves the right to decline any booking at any time. If you need to amend your confirmation email address, please email [email protected] or call +44 (0)20 8267 4011.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance (CPD)?
Certificates of attendance will be issued after the conference and sent to your registered email address. This conference is self-accredited. There is no set amount or min/max of credits to receive, it depends on how many sessions you attend but typically 1 hour of learning = 1 CPD credit.
You can view the programme to get an idea of how much you could accumulate.
Can I send a colleague in my place?
No. Please ask your colleague to sign up and let us know you wish to cancel your place by emailing [email protected]
Are you able to issue VISA letters?
MIMS Learning Live is for UK-based healthcare professionals only. Therefore we are unable to issue invitation letters to support VISA applications.
Is it possible to register onsite?
Yes registration is possible onsite but we recommend that you register in advance to avoid disappointment.
Can I cancel my registration?
Cancellations will be accepted up until Thursday 6 June 2024. Please notify us by emailing [email protected] as soon as possible.

Onsite Information
How do I get to the Business Design Centre?
You’ll find the Business Design Centre right in the heart of Islington, with excellent public transport links to Central London and national destinations. You can easily reach the BDC via bus, London Underground and Overground, the BDC is a short walk from National Rail stations at Kings Cross and St Pancras International.
By tube
Closest tube stations:
Angel tube - 4 mins walk
Highbury & Islington - 15 mins walk
By trainKings Cross / St Pancras - 1 stop (Northern line) or 20 minute walk
Euston - 2 Stops (Northern line) or 20 minute walk
Liverpool Street - 3 stops (Circle/District then change onto Northern line) or 40 minute walk
London Bridge - 4 stops (Northern line) or 50 minute walk
Cycling
If you choose to cycle to the BDC, there is a free cycle storage in the on-site car park. You can also rent Santander bikes from several hire stations in the Islington area.
Driving and Car Sharing
It’s easy to reach the BDC by car – and although they are a stone’s throw from Central London, they are not in the Congestion Charge zone.
There is a secure, 250-space car park on-site. If you’re driving to the Business Design Centre, make sure you pre-book your space to avoid disappointment.

Where can I book accommodation close to the BDC?
The area around the BDC is packed with great places to stay. Accommodation suitable for a range of budgets can be booked online via the BDC website here.
When will I receive my conference badge?
E-badges will be sent to via email, the week of the event. Please ensure that you have your e-ticket barcode ready on your smartphone/device when you arrive. You will need to scan the barcode to print your badge.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the conference is smart casual.
Will Wi-Fi be available onsite?
Free WiFi is available for delegates to use throughout the conference. Login details will be displayed throughout the conference.
Are lunch and refreshments included?
No, lunch and refreshments aren’t included but there are catering outlets within the exhibition hall to purchase lunch and refreshments. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. We recommend bringing your own bottle of water to drink during conference sessions. Water refill stations will be located in the Exhibition Hall
Is the BDC accessible?
The reception desks are DDA-compliant, suitable for people in wheelchairs. All levels of the venue are accessible via passenger lifts, with low-reach buttons, braille, back mirrors and distress alarms. Every staircase in the BDC has handrails. All publicly-accessible areas of the venue are well-lit.
If someone is dropping you off in a vehicle, please contact our front of house team so we can give you access to the forecourt through our security point. Please call 0207 288 6475. If you are coming by train, the nearest step-free station is Kings Cross and St Pancras International, which is easily reachable via bus or taxi.

Is there a prayer room at the BDC?
There is a multi-faith room available on the Exhibition floor for private prayer or quiet reflection. This will be signposted on the floorplan and signage. Please speak to a member of staff if you need help locating it.
Is there a cloakroom available?
There is a staffed cloakroom located in the registration area next to Gallery Hall. Items will be charged at £1.50 each. Please note that items are left at your own risk.
Will there be filming and photography at the event?
Photography will be taking place at MIMS Learning Live London 2023. If you have any objections to being photographed and/or filmed, please advise the organisers as soon as possible by reporting to the registration desk or emailing [email protected].
Will my data be shared with sponsors and partners?
Event exhibitors and sponsors may want to share information and news about products and services with you. Haymarket Media Group, organisers of MIMS Learning Live, takes your privacy seriously. Sharing your details with sponsors and partners is always your choice and you will always be provided with a clear opportunity to indicate if you would prefer us not to share this information during registration. Sustainability
What are some of the things the venue does?
- Donate Not Waste is an initiative that takes things businesses throw away and gives them to charities, schools and play centres that need them. Any suitable waste items such as stationery, fabric and display materials will be donated where possible.
- No waste to landfill – Waste that cannot be donated will be recycled or responsibly incinerated and turned into energy. Separate bins for different types of waste are provided throughout the venue.
- Cycle storage & electric charging points are available at the venue.
- Since 2019 100% renewable electricity has been used in the venue.
- Introduced various energy efficiency measures across the venue over a number of years including, motion sensors, automatic taps and flushes as well as low energy lighting.
- Plastic-free catering
What are some of the things the organisers do?
- Reuse materials and branding from previous events including lanyards, delegate bags and signage.
- Onsite printed materials are kept to a minimum. The programme and agenda are available to view online or large digital signage at the venue. No conference brochures or show guides will be provided.
- All marketing materials promoting the event are conducted electronically.
- Conference registration is entirely online, and booking confirmations are electronic.
- Conference delegate badges made of paper (FSC certified) and no plastic badge wallets are used.
- We are working with sponsors and exhibitors to minimise materials they use and/or dispose of whilst at the conference.
- Pens and paper will not be provided to delegates to encourage the use of scrap paper or digital alternatives.
What can you do as a visitor?
- Avoid single-use plastics – Please bring refillable water bottles and coffee cups with you. There are free water stations throughout the venue.
- Recycle and reuse – return your lanyard and badge at the end of the day.
- Follow waste separation and recycling instructions at the venue.
- Cycle, take public transport, carshare or use an electric vehicle. Cycle storage & electric charging points are available at the venue. On-site shower facilities are also available for cyclists.
This event is for qualified healthcare professionals. Anyone under the age of 18, including children and babies will not be permitted entry. Pharmaceutical companies will be at the MIMS Learning Live events.
The distribution of promotional material, except by exhibitors at their stands, is strictly prohibited. Visitors/delegates are prohibited from selling or promoting any product by word-of-mouth. The organisers reserve the right to remove any literature and to ask the person to leave.
